This beautiful little girl, above, is our precious Meg, who is a tiny Cocker weighing in at only 13 pounds. Some hobby breeders have begun to specialize in smaller sized Cockers, and although this is not our primary intention, many of our puppies tend to be "mini-cockers" like Meg.
Meg is a mahogany sable and white parti. Her colors are just to die for. She seems to have all shades of red and gold interlaced throughout her coat. For more information about sable Cockers, please see our "About Sable Cockers" page.
In terms of personality, Meg is a riot. She struts around with a squeaky toy in her mouth wagging her whole rear end as she walks. She is so adorable and such a lover, and I can't imagine what we would do without her.
This male, black-tri colored Cocker is named Rudy, and he is a very special little boy who is enormously loving and devoted. He has a personality that just booms when he enters a room. We would like to give a special thanks to Denice of Rayven's Spaniels for our darling Rudy. He is a beautiful dog and a constant joy.
Rudy's pedigree contains many well known Cocker kennels.
LIBBY
Libby is our most recent addition to our family. In this picture of Libby at 6 months of age, she is still very much a puppy. As you can see, Libby is a sable and white parti colored cocker like Meggie. Libby has a very unique shade of red sabling, a very rich, bright color. This little girl has the most precious temperment. She is full of herself and of all that "cocker merriment" that the breed is known for. She is an absolute lovey-dog, wanting nothing more to please and to be close us. We are thrilled to have her; she has just brought us so much joy. We would like to thank our friend, Tiffany Yeary, for such a darling!
BRILEY
Briley is a chocolate factored, light-colored buff. She comes from hunting lines, lines which we like for their health and for their intelligence. Briley is one of the smartest cockers that I have ever met, and she is also one of the most loving. She is my husband's shadow, and she follows him everywhere he goes.
I love to watch Briley's strong hunting instinct come out. She stops and points, retrieves like her life depends on it, and pounces on brush in the woods with her two front feet, hoping to flush something up. Her past puppies have inherited this strong hunting instinct along side of her wonderful temperament and intelligence. There are three pictures of Briley's past puppies on the home page and many more on the "Past Puppies" page.
This silver, buff male, my dear Brennen, is my own particular shadow. Brennen is an older boy now and just our beloved pet, but without question, he is a true gift. What would I do without this dog? I can't even begin to describe how important he is to me. He is calm, gentle, loving...I have watched my friend's babies tug his ears down to the ground where they are lying spread on a blanket, and sweet, benevolent Brennen simply wags his tail, staring adoringly at the babies. Yes, folks, I am lucky enough to own a dog tempered literally, exactly like Lady from "Lady and the Tramp." He is everything you think of when you think of what a Cocker should be. He was born good.
